HOW HOT IS IT? It's hot. Made with the Carolina Reaper Pepper, which tips the heat scale between 1,100,000 and 2,200,000 SHU (Scoville Heat Units) depending on the harvest. But to help us acquire that desirable, underlying chocolate-like taste of BBQ we also infuse this blend with Ghost Pepper, which tips the heat scale at just over 1,000,000 SHU.
DON'T SMOKE/COOK AWAY THE HEAT!
Regardless of how you choose to apply it, be sure you don't smoke or cook away the heat. Continuously reapply this blend while cooking, especially if you're smoking something for extended periods of time.
